The Charlotte Asian Film Festival returns for its third edition on Saturday, September 13, 2025. This year, the festival spoitlights filmmakers and stories with roots in the Carolinas—alongside voices from across the globe.
The festival includes:
Film Screenings
• Diverse selection of short films, features, and documentaries—each with English subtitles
• Stories that explore Asian identity, culture, and heritage
Filmmaker Q&A Sessions
• Engage with storytellers and learn the creative process behind their work
Awards & Highlights
• Awards for local (Carolinas) and international submissions
• Networking with creatives, cultural leaders, and film enthusiasts
Following the festival is an AAPI Block Party at Maya VP Studio, featuring food trucks and vendors (limited registration opens soon).
