September 12-14 | Panda Fest
CHARLOTTE—PANDA FEST, one of the biggest outdoor Asian food festivals in the U.S. with experiential activities, tastings, and market fairs debuts in Charlotte at Ballantyne's Backyard on September 12–14, 2025.
According to festival organizers, the immersive festival will feature:
- 80+ food vendors and trucks offering over 300 dishes, from Taiwanese popcorn chicken and Korean BBQ skewers to Japanese Takoyaki, Filipino lumpia, and other incredible regional street eats.
- A market fair with over 25 vendors selling crafts, clothing, art, panda-themed collectibles, and more.
- Entertainment and panda-themed fun, including lion dances, K-pop performance groups, DJs, and interactive zones for families and kids—including a 15-foot inflatable panda, panda bounce ring, and other Instagram-worthy moments.
