LILA Now Open in Charlotte
CHARLOTTE, NC—LILA Restaurant, originally announced as a second location of Winston-Salem’s Sushi Rosé, has opened in the former Haymaker location in uptown Charlotte’s Third Ward (S. Poplar Street). LILA's owners describe their restaurant and lounge as a “modern contemporary Japanese-Asian fusion concept desiined to transport guests on a culinary journey where global influences meet Japanese precision.” Diners can expect much of that fusion to come from Latin American cuisine, especially Peruvian. The nearly 5,000-square-foot, two-story space shifts into a cocktail lounge on Friday and Saturday nights. The space features seating for about 170 people across the dining room, mezzanine and patio.
