Desi District to Open in Pineville
PINEVILLE, NC—Texas-based Desi District has announced it will be opening a new location in Pineville at Parkway Crossing, 11812 Carolina Parkway Place, near Carolina Place Mall. Desi District dscribes itself as a “a modern and urban Indian street food eatery and your neighborhood market combined in one fabulous place. We provide the neighborhood with essential and specialty grocery items including fresh raw meats, produce and spices. Our eatery menu is curated to bring exclusive street food from different districts of India.” The South Asian market will be approximately 15,540 square feet, and the franchise is expected to open in August of this year.
Desi District current operates five locations—all in Texas—and according to its web site, plans to open additional locations there, as well as in Atlanta and Carmel, Indiana.
