
GREENSBORO, NC—The Center for Asian American Religion, Theology, and Culture‘s (AARTC) 2026 annual workshop will take place on January 7–8th, 2027, at Greensboro College. Their two-day program is designed to help participants:
Dr. G. Sujin Pak, Dean of the Boston University School of Theology and Professor of the History of Christianity, is the keynote speaker. Dr. Pak is an expert in the history of Christianity with a focus on the early modern period, the Protestant Reformation, and the history of biblical interpretation. As a professor, she encourages her students to engage not only a variety of perspectives, but also the social contexts from which those perspectives emerged.
AARTC will provide the venue, meals, and refreshments at Greensboro College. Participants will receive a small stipend based on their location to help cover participants’ time, lodging, and travel. This year’s workshop is supported by the Reynolds Ministry Grant Fund (the United Methodist Foundation/Western NC conference).
