COLUMBIA, SC—The 31st Annual Columbia International Festival showcases the music, culture, food, and performing arts of the various cultures, nationalities, races and language groups represented in South Carolina. 

Since 1996, the event has been bringing together all of the area's international communities to build better community and race relations between various ethnic, cultural, and language groups and with the South Carolina community at large. The indoor event at the South Carolina State Fairgrounds is attended by 17,000–22,000 people each year and highlights the cultural heritages of around 100 countries.

Traditionally dressed representatives proudly present their home country's flag at the 2:00 pm Saturday Parade. Attendees can also enjoy a show of the traditional costumes and clothing from around the world. An adult fashion show takes place on Saturday at 4:00 pm; The children's fashion show is on Sunday at 4:00 pm. There is also an international food court, bazaar, and cultural demonstrations.
