The City of Charlotte is hosting Preparing for Change: Leadership Transitions in Neighborhood Organizations on August 26, 2025, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Belmont Regional Center, 700 Parkwood Avenue, Charlotte NC 28205.
Change in leadership is a natural part of any thriving neighborhood organization, and there are many reasons to be prepared, whether due to personal life changes, new opportunities, or unexpected circumstances. This interactive workshop will guide attendees through creating a succession plan that ensures smooth leadership transitions, preserves valuable knowledge, and prepares future leaders for success. Attendees will leave with practical strategies, tools, and a clear plan to keep their neighborhood strong through change.
