Adrian Chu Redmond is an internationally-acclaimed artist with a poetic eye and desire to bring energy and expression into everyday life. Drawing heavily in inspiration from colors in nature, she aims to capture fleeting moments, emotions and sensations by utilizing bold brush strokes, strong palette-knife markings and vivid hues. Finding beauty in the ordinary, Adrian uses a unique stylistic blend of realism and abstraction to express her vision of the world and bring vibrant energy to subjects and moments.

Another trademark and nod to her heritage, Adrian incorporates Chinese feng shui coins—a traditional symbol for wealth, peace, prosperity, and protection—into her work. The coins are round in external shape (representing the energy of heaven) with square holes in the center, representing the energy of the earth. Placing a single feng shui coin on the back of each of her paintings is Adrian’s way to encourage the energies of long life and good fortune for every recipient.
